The Hon. Warren Snowdon MP visits Vietnam
The Hon. Warren Snowdon MP, Minister for Defence, Science and Personnel travelled to Vietnam in October to welcome home the remains of Private David Fisher.
Private Fisher was lost in action 39 years ago while on operations in Vietnam.
Four Australian Army Personnel were lost on operations and not recovered during the Vietnam War. Private Fisher is the fourth and last Army member to be repatriated. Lance Corporal Richard Parker and Private Peter Gillson were repatriated to Australia in June 2007 and Lance Corporal John Gillespie in December 2007.
