Combet inspects regional Victoria Defence sites

Greg Combet, the Parliamentary Secretary for Defence Procurement, has visited Defence facilities in Bendigo, where he inspected the Bushmaster program at Thales.

He also announced that a local Bendigo firm has won the contract to supply body armour to the ADF.

The contract went to Australian Defence Apparel (ADA) Pty Ltd after extensive evaluations of highly competitive Australian and overseas tenderers.

During a visit to Bendigo firm Australian Defence Apparel, Mr. Greg Combet, the Parliamentary Secretary for Defence Procurement, announced the firm had won the contract to supply body armour to the ADF.
