Request for Tender for HQJOC Facility Prime Systems
Integrator
I am pleased to
announce further progress towards a fully operational $300 million Headquarters
Joint Operations Command (HQJOC) facility.
On
I can confirm today
the release of the RFT documentation for the C4I systems Prime Systems
Integrator contract.
The five companies
shortlisted to bid for the contract are:
This is a unique and
exciting opportunity for the success company to deliver a complex, integrated
C4I capability for this significant Defence project.
The bidding companies
must respond to the RFT by 18 September, and the Project expects to reach
contract signature by mid November 2006.
The contract to
construct and operate the Headquarters was finalised between Defence and Praeco
Pty Ltd in late June 2006. Praeco, a
consortium comprising Leighton Contractors Pty Limited and
The new HQJOC facility
remains on schedule to be fully operational in the last quarter of 2008.
